Jorge O Klajnbart, D.O.

Jorge O Klajnbart, D.O. (COL, Ret. USA) graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He began his Orthopedic residency at Fitzsimons in Aurora and completed it at Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington state.
His most recent foreign assignment as 3rd Army ARCENT Surgeon Forward was a year in Kuwait. He has been Chief of Orthopedics and Chief of the Department of Surgery at Evans Army Hospital. He served as Lead Surgeon for the WCAP (World Class Athlete Program) for the last 8 years and team physician for the All Army Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams. He has two prior deployments to Jordan and Afghanistan where he served as the sole Orthopedic Surgeon for the 2nd FST (Forward Surgical Team) in support of Special Forces Operations. He received a Bronze star and Combat Medical badge for these efforts.
He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is bi-lingual in Spanish. He has traveled to Colombia, Guatemala, and Chile as a Subject Matter Expert on battlefield trauma and did a professional educational exchange with national military physicians in these countries. Dr. Klajnbart has lived in Southern Colorado for the past 11 years and now calls Colorado ‘home’.
